Hrithik Roshan, who marked the 10th anniversary of his marriage with Sussanne Khan on Monday, has thanked his friends and fans for their love.

“Been reading all tweets…thank you so much for all your wonderful wishes! Sending our love to all out there,” Hrithik posted on Twitter.

Actress Mallika Sherawat was among many who wished the couple.

“Happy anniversary to Hrithik and Sussanne…A loveliest of couples! Many more happy years to you both,” she posted.

Hrithik and Sussanne have two children – Hrehaan, four, and Hridhaan, two.

German supermodel-turned-actress Claudia Ciesla, who is considering a Bollywood career, has rubbished rumours that she is dating Indian superstar Salman Khan and insists that Katrina Kaif is his girlfriend.

“Salman and I are just good friends. He is not my boyfriend, as has been reported. Everyone knows that it’s Katrina Kaif who is his girlfriend and not me. I haven’t even been that long in India to start controversies,” Claudia, 22, told us in an interview.

She was in the capital to promote her film ‘Karma: Crime, Passion, Reincarnation’.

“Everything (rumours) started when I was in Europe. I couldn’t even keep track of it because I was busy over there. But now I hope everything is clear… even Salman had clarified everything in interviews and I am doing the same,” she added.

A leading daily had reported that the model was the actor’s new muse and reason behind the Salman-Katrina split.

The occasional singer, who has already cut two albums, also conceded that she understands “it all happens when you are in showbiz”. She says rumour mills started working overtime after Salman invited her to his place.

“The only thing was that he invited me to meet his family. Even Katrina was there and they made me feel most welcome,” said Claudia, who was on her fifth trip to India since January 2008.

But the negative reports haven’t stopped her from praising Salman.

“Salman is a wonderful person. He is very gentle and polite. He and his father gave me a lot of advice for my Bollywood career. Even Katrina and I spent a lot of time together and she gave me a lot of advice. She told me about her career and how she learnt Hindi. It was amazing. I respect her a lot for that,” she said.

On being asked if Salman promised her to find work in Bollywood, she said: “Salman didn’t promise me nothing. Why should he?”
Her film ‘Karma: Crime, Passion, Reincarnation’, directed by M.R. Shahjahan, won prestigious awards at the Spain and Greece film festivals and was also premiered at Cannes.

The film is a dramatic thriller about an Austrian girl (Claudia) who is raped and murdered during her visit to India in the 1970s and how she reincarnates and comes back to the same place after 30 years.

“I am seriously thinking about coming into Bollywood. After the rainy season, I’m planning to stay here for a long time…I’ll rent an apartment in Mumbai and even start taking Hindi lessons,” she said.

She has already worked in Italian and German sitcoms, -German-Indian collaboration ‘Ki Jana Pardes’ (Punjabi), and Bengali movie ’10:10′.

Claudia says she has three Bollywood offers in hand and that she is coming out with two music albums respectively in German and English.

This is the hot shoot that set the fire raging in Mumbai. The 69-year-old actor-filmmaker died at 1:30 am at his farmhouse in Bangalore. His son and actor Fardeen Khan besides some other family members were at his bedside when the end came.

MUMBAI – BOLLYWOOD actor Feroz Khan, once dubbed ‘the Clint Eastwood of the East’ because of his maverick roles and manly swagger, died on Monday after a long fight against cancer, his publicist said. He was 69.

‘Feroz Khan passed away post-midnight at the Feroz Khan ranch in (the southern city of) Bangalore,’ the publicist said.

Khan was diagnosed with cancer last year and was being treated at a private hospital in Mumbai but discharged himself earlier this month. His family was at his bedside when he died, she added.

The actor was born to a father with Afghan roots and a mother of Iranian origin and brought up in Bangalore. He found fame in Oonche Log (High Society) and in the saccharine-sweet musical Arzoo (Wish), both in 1965.

Khan was known to push boundaries. As a producer and director, he made Dharmatma, the first Hindi-language movie made on location in Afghanistan and inspired by the Oscar-winning Hollywood epic The Godfather.

But it was with the 1980 Hindi/Urdu gangster film Qurbani (Sacrifice) that he scored his biggest hit as an actor, producer and director, introducing foreign locations to Bollywood that are now the norm.

He repeated his success with films like Janbaaz (Braveheart) starring a young Anil Kapoor, who later went on to feature in the Oscar-winning movie Slumdog Millionaire, and Dayavaan (Kindhearted) in the 1980s.

In a 2003 profile, news and information website rediff.com said of the actor: ‘Khan did not walk, he swaggered… He left his shirt unbuttoned to reveal a brawny chest and sported tight-fitting trousers.

‘A cigarette dangled from his lips, a femme fatale hung on his arm and a horse waited for his bidding. He spoke with an American twang. He wore a pair of dark brown boots with the leggings embroidered tastefully. Looking quite a cowboy, his antics were bold enough to match his looks.

When he reached the extreme end of the ramp stage, he paused and did what was to the surprise of all those be-seating in the audiences. Akki thrust his pelvis at Twinkle and asked her to unbutton his jeans.

The bashful Twinkle turned red and took aback at first impulse. Unrelenting, Akki took her hand and only then did a blushing,Twinkle concealed. Before your mind’s eye races to the unimaginable, let us assure you that if anything popped out at this hot show, it were the eyes of those who watched!

Even Akshay blushed a bit and backed-off after the act.

When asked about the ramp walking, Akshay said, “I was not nervous as I did not have to perform – as in shows. I just had to walk, that also in the most comfortable of dresses – in jeans!”

About his daily-rising success rate, he said, “No, my success is not a part of any strategy. I just be myself, and things take their course.”

When asked whether the ‘unzipping’ incident was staged, Twinkle replied, “He always does something to surprise me. I was not at all expecting this. He comes up with something new every time.”

Naturally, her smile was controlled and her blushes were not spared.

Thanks to his provocative stunt, there were naughty twinkles in eyes other than his wife’s!
